Partnerships
Agency Partnerships:
The Society has a number of partnerships that contribute to the overall success of the organization. The City of Calgary donates office space, youth probation officers and community social workers at times, assist the local YouthJustice Committees with their day to day operations. Other partnerships include the Alberta Solicitor General, the Calgary Police Service, the Crown Prosecutor's Office, Community Associations and many youth serving organizations.
Community Partnerships:
Each Youth Justice Committee also has established many partnerships within their communities. Some of these may include: community associations, local police districts, schools, churches, local businesses, or youth serving organizations who accept referrals for youth programs and more. The support that is offered through these partnerships is essential to the success of the Youth Justice Committees.
Funding
Past and current funding partners include: the Department of Justice, Alberta Law Foundation, The Calgary Foundation, the Community Initiatives Program, Calgary Community Lottery Board, Anonymous Donors, Family and Community Support Services, the Solicitor General of Alberta and Alberta Gaming.
The Calgary Youth Justice Society would also like to recognize the generous donation of office space from the City of Calgary.
